Outrigger canoeing provides one of the most perfect venues for corporate & organizational teambuilding available. Every person, every seat counts. Everyone must pull together, in sync, in harmony, in a blended, smooth almost musical framework. Every team goes through the classic teambuilding stages of forming, storming, norming and performing: the hallmarks of high performing work teams.




LOCATION
Teambuilding events are held in Santa Cruz, California in affiliation with Akau Hana Outrigger Canoe Club. Arrangements can be made for other locales in and around Central California and Hawai’i.


REQUIREMENTS
All participants must have basic swimming skills. In addition, appropriate water sports clothing is needed. Paddles, lifejackets and all other safety gear are provided.


COST
Cost can range from $50-$250 per person, depending upon the number of people and type of program desired. Meals may also be included by arrangement. Transportation costs are extra.
