How to Register
IMPORTANT: To secure a chase boat, send in your Intent to Race form and your race fees by Sept. 20!

If you would like to borrow a canoe, let us know by Sept. 20th also, and we will do our best to secure one for you. You'll be expected to make a donation to the club loaning you the canoe to pay for towing and parking fees.

Write to us or call (831) 475-1766 if you'd like to request a loaner canoe.

Fill out your Intent to Race form and send it along with your race entries fees to:

Make checks payable to Akau Hana Outrigger Canoe Club

Download and fill out the NCOCA Long Distance Event Registration form. Bring your completed race form to the Registration Desk by 8:00 AM on the morning of the race.

(Note that depending on participation in this event, we may add age divisions to future Monterey Bay Crossing Races.)

Women Iron
Women 9-Person
Coed Iron (3 men, 3 women)
Coed 9-Person (6 women, 3 men)
Men Iron
Men 9-Person

All participants must also have an NCOCA Insurance Waiver on file with the NCOCA race clerk. Submit waivers for all new paddlers with this entry form. This is an NCOCA-approved race and all participants must abide by the rules set forth by the NCOCA Long Distance Race Rules Committee. Non-NCOCA participants must provide proof of insurance.
